Job Class: A system used in FFX-2 for abilities where characters take on roles such as: Popstar, Knight and White Mage to use various skills.

Blitzball: Most popular sport in Spira, played like an underwater soccer match.

Spira: Planet where FFX-2 is set.

Yevon: Old religion that many people in Spira still believe. It states "Machina" is evil and the cause of Sin.

Sin: Evil entity that once threatened Spira. It was defeated by Yuna and her guardians.

Machina: Term used in Spira for machines and technology. The Al Bhed control most of Spira's Machina.

Al Bhed: Race of people that were widely hated by the rest of Spira for using forbidden Machina and for kidnapping Summoners on their pilgrimage. After the fall of Yevon machines were allowed and the Al Bhed people are now accepted.

Summoner: Part of the Yevon religion is the "Summoners" .They call powerful beasts to train for the "Final Aeon" to destroy Sin. Yuna was once a summoner.

Guardian: People that protect the summoner on their pilgrimage.

Pilgrimage: A journey all Summoners take to get Aeons in preparation for the final showdown with Sin with the "Final Aeon" in Zanarkand.

Aeon(s): Powerful Beasts called by Summoners by praying to the "Fayth" at temples around Spira.

Zanarkand :City destroyed by Sin over 1000 years ago, now it has become a holy place.

Final Aeon: The most powerful Aeon created by the bond between a summoner and a close freind, love or relation which becomes their "Fayth". Together the power is able to pierce Sin amour and reveal Yu Yevon who is inside.

Fayth : Trapped Souls that call help Summoners get Aeons

Yu Yevon : After a summoner calls the Final Aeon, Yu Yevon the creator of Sin uses the soul of the Summoners Fayth to rebuild Sin again.

Farplane : Resting place for the souls of the departed, Souls are sent to the Farplane when Summoners perform "The Sending"

The Sending : A Dance that takes souls to rest in the Farplane.

Luca : Biggest city in Spira, Blitzball matches are held in a giant stadium in Luca.

Guado : A race in Spira that are much like humans but with long nails and sightly different body structure. They live in the city of Guadosalm
