1. Introduction:

Final Fantasy 10 and the sequel 10-2 both take place on the mythical planet of Spira. Spira is a planet in Peril. A continuing spiral of death brought on by an evil entity known only as "Sin" threatens the people of Spira, Who have abandoned Technology
deeming it evil and have turned to religion for aid. They call this religion "Yevon". Yevon is very important to the people of Spira, as it gives them hope and a chance to stop Sin. Even though it'll only be temporarily. For a thousand years Summoners and
their guardians were capable destroying Sin again and again. They could only do this by performing the "Final Summoning" which would create a force with the power to face Sin. This however required sacrificing themselves. They did for the people of
Spira in hopes to bring on the "calm" and ease Spira's pain. Their deaths no matter how noble were in vain. Sin could not be destroyed, it would forever return and the spiral of death would continue. That is until a young stranger from the past named
"Tidus" and the daughter of a high summoner that once destroyed Sin named "Yuna" joined forces and along with Yuna's guardians set out to find a new way to defeat Sin. This time for good. They eventually succeeded after many struggles and peace
was restored to Spira. The era of "Eternal Calm" was declared. Unfortunately Tidus was lost after the defeat of Sin and Yuna now searches the world for "spheres" along with her freinds: The Al Bhed cutie "Rikku" and tough punk "Paine". Finding these
sphere's which are able show images of the past may hold the key to the mystery of Tidus whereabouts. The search goes on as together the all-girl group fights their way through fierce monsters and the emerging "New Yevon Movement" . This is Spira,
this is the world of The Final Fantasy 10 series.
