Not much has been revealed about Nooj or his overall character. He seems to have a calm demeanor but his persistence gave him the name “Die Hard.” He earned that name while working in the Suppression Corps, but now he is the leader of the Alliance Ajito.  This group is rivals with the New Teachings of Yevon, which will probably provide Sin/ Yu-Yevon with a way to threaten Spira directly or indirectly. Nooj will probably give the Kamome-Dan group some jobs in the future. He seems a little like Auron only younger and more confident.
Nooj wears a large red jumpsuit that covers his entire body except for his arms and one of his legs. Due to an accident while working with the Suppression Corps, he lost his left arm and leg. They were replaced with mechanical parts giving him a cyborg-type look. His hair is tied up and extremely long, which seems to be a trend with the new FF characters.
Now for the weapon, but the problem is that nobody really knows what it is. Most of the artwork for Nooj shows him carrying a cane around, which could double as a sword. On the other hand, some screenshots show Nooj shouldering an assault rifle, which is a more likely possibility. Either of the two could be used, and maybe both will, but we’ll just have to wait and see which one it really is.
