Summary

Ok, only vague summaries are avalible at the moment seeing as Japan is still in the early stages of experiencing
FFX2 and America will be left out for a while. FFX2 is the first ever Final Fantasy sequel, which may or may not be an
important fact. Before FFX2 was released, Square had even thought of making FFX3, based on Rikku, but for the moment, no plans for a second sequel has been made, although rumors are flying.
From what is gathered, there are three main characters, Yuna, Rikku, and Paine (a Lulu resembelance). At the beginning, Yuna finds a sphere with a Tidus engraving, and sets out on a quest to find this person. FFX2 takes place 2 years after FFX. Spira is in peace, and Yuna, once a summoner for Yevon, now on a sphere hunt with Rikku makes her 2nd entrance to the Final Fantasy World. Both Yuna and Rikku are now seen wearing... more "revealing" clothing... and you thought Yuna was an innocent child and Rikku had shed enough clothing :P?
The game will be less straightforward, and more user based with more locations, the ability to use different modes of transportation, and being able to jump and climb. Some other differences include the loss of the sphere grid, aeons, overkills, and overdrives. New things include the job system and maybe other things that are unknown at the present time.
Seeing as FFX2 is a sequel, we will be meeting a lot of the characters from the previous game such as Wakka, Lulu, etc. All in all, this game looks like it is shaping up to be something spectacular. After all, 1 million copies were sold in Japan on the first day of release. More information to come soon.
