Yuna
Age: 19
Default Class: Gunner
Sphere Hunting Group: Kamome-Dan
The key difference between Yuna’s character in FFX-2 from FFX is her whole attitude towards the quest. Previously, Yuna undertook the quest to maintain the careful balance of peace in Spira. In this game, however, she will be traveling to find out more about herself and to save her former lover.
Another large difference is the style of Yuna’s clothes. She now wears less elegant clothes with an Al-Bhed touch that lets her get drawn into the fights more. An almost unnoticeable detail is the jewelry she is wearing. Yuna wears the same earrings and necklace, possibly indicating that they mean something to her. Instead of the robe, she now wears short pants with half of a long skirt held by her holster/belt. One final note about her garments is the symbol holding her shirt together. Look familiar? Good, since its Tidus’ blitzball sign. Other than her clothes, Yuna has an extremely long braid that goes down to her boots, possibly containing some hidden meaning or they might be there just to look cool. Basically, she has a sexier and more symbolic outfit than she did in the previous game.
Finally, the weapon change, double pistols. The ban on machina was removed soon after the destruction of Sin. The pistols are silver with a gold stripe on each side, plus they make her a stronger character overall.
